En el entendido de la relevancia de estos ejercicios curatoriales porque abren vías hacia la reflexión y nos conminan a revisar nuestras anquilosadas actitudes artísticas y a explorar, si así se requiere, nuevas rutas para la expresión y el entendimiento, resulta indiscutible exigir que quien asuma el rol de curador reúna los requisitos indispensables que garanticen, en la medida de lo posible, resultados positivos. De ahí la necesidad —reitero—, para que exista mayor rigor en la selección del curador invitado y no aceptar imposiciones, casi siempre desatinadas, de las instituciones culturales del centro del país, que tan sólo parecen saldar compromisos o validar a costa de lo que sea a ciertos individuos. La vía adecuada para evitar estos inconvenientes puede estar en la creación de un consejo consultivo formado con individuos cuyo compromiso con el medio, conocimiento del arte y solvencia ética los distinga y en el que su papel será únicamente el de revisar escrupulosamente los antecedentes de los futuros curadores y la coherencia de los proyectos que ofertan. Esto podría garantizar resultados menos sorpresivos en cuanto a originalidad y calidad (si es que estos continúan siendo parámetros de valor en el arte actual).

From there the need —I reiterate—, so that greater severity in the selection of the invited curator exist and not to accept impositions, almost always foolish, of the cultural institutions of the center of the country, that only they seem to settle commitments or to validate at the cost of what be certain individuals. The adequate way to avoid these objections can be in the creation of a consultative counsel formed with individuals whose commitment with the middle, knowledge of the art and reliability ethics the distinguise and in which its role will be only that of revise scrupulously the antecedents of the future curators and the coherence of the projects that offer. This would be able to guarantee results less unexpected as for originality and quality (if is that these they continue being parameters of value in the present art).
