IN MEMORIAM

The abysmal socioeconomic inequality between Mexico and the United States of America is reflected clearly in all of the shrunken faces of the immigrants people who persecute the American Dream, in that critical moment of that adventure of their life, trying to cross the border illegally towards United States, they suffered humiliations, robbery & mistreated (at the indolent indifference of the society of both countries that frequently culminate with the death. Hugh dilemma of this piece of the humanity. By one side a country that rejects them (U.S.A.) that ironically allows a small groups of these needy ones, penetrates their borders so they can be used in those works despised by its citizens (farmers, housekeeping’s, farmers, wash cars, mechanical’s, etc.) with a salary beyond the stipulated by the state and without rights or social benefits and by the other side, the country that it ignores them (Mexico, Centro and Sudamerica) that given to the incompetence and corruption of its governments marginalizes them and borders to live in their shameful misery, and between the human need of being different they rather the pain and the death more than remain in that forgetfulness of their countries.

La abismal desigualdad socioeconómica de México y Estados Unidos de América se refleja nítidamente en la esperanza fincada en los rostros marchitos de los indocumentados que persiguen el sueño americano, y que en el trance de esa aventura, la de cruzar ilegalmente hacia la unión americana, sufren vejaciones (ante la indolente indiferencia de la sociedad de ambos paises) que con frecuencia culminan con la muerte. Vaya dilema de este pedazo de la humanidad!. Por un lado el país que los rechaza (EE.UU. y cínicamente permite que un puñado de estos menesterosos penetren sus fronteras para que sean subempleados en aquellos trabajos menospreciados por sus ciudadanos (campesinos, servidumbre, afanadores, jardineros, lava carros, etc.) con un salario muy por abajo del estipulado por el estado y sin derechos a beneficios sociales y por otro, el país que los ignora (México, Centro y Sudamérica) que dada la incompetencia y corrupción de sus gobiernos los margina y orilla a vivir en la miseria más vergonzosa, y ente el humano intento de ser diferentes prefieren el dolor y la muerte que permanecer en ese olvido.
