Perhaps it unworthy of a society is exactly its stigmas. The fanaticism, the hypocrite, the injustice, the corruption and the abuses cause a cutting stigma that is the hatred. The absolutist societies cause them frequently, the religion tends to be behaved in that absolutist form, and the empires are maybe the best example of this scoff of the human attitude

Tal vez lo degradante de una sociedad sea justamente sus estigmas. El fanatismo, la hipocresía, la injusticia, la corrupción y los abusos provocan un lacerante estigma que es el odio. Las sociedades absolutistas los provocan con frecuencia, la religión tiende a comportarse en esa forma absolutista, los imperios son quizá el mejor ejemplo de esta escoria de la actitud humana.
